Greetings everyone. I'm Diyana@Nightress, hailing from a country in South-East Asia,
the warm & colourful Malaysia. I've always been a fan of performing arts, with meself, having experience being a stage performer since high school and all through my university days where I was fortunate to be in a short tutelage under one of Malaysia's veteran theater actor, Mr. Yalal Chin. I was trained for my very first theater performance when I was 18, however, soon after the next year till prior to graduation, I got involved with Traditional & Contemporary Dancing as my main cultural forte instead. However, when I graduated in 2006, it had also marked the end of my chapter as a performing art enthusiast.
It was not until in 2005, I stumbled upon an ad in a newspaper promoting an event called Games,Anime and Comics Circle (GACC) that i found out about the existence of the local Animation, Comics and Games (ACG) scene. You could very well say that was where I first found out about the culture of cosplaying and had met a few cosplayers who right now had became friends that i really look up towards to! That's where I realized that my existing passion can be given a new life again. In fact, the scope is bigger, wider and even more exciting than a normal stage performance. So far, in my previous event & cos-related endeavors, I was exposed to a lot of new experiences, new relations & bittersweet memories that will forever be a treasured part of me.

More of this site, it is intended entirely as my own personal blog - from my life journey as a wife as well as a mother and cosplay/costume projects journal since I realized that I need to keep tracks on my future projects and have proper records on my current progress & to share updates on future activities/appearances. Plus with a little touch of personal feelings to it because I always believed that what you do by heart will really be seen ;)
A special appreciation and my endless gratitude to all the respective photographers for your wonderful captures that I feel honored to share here in this site and big, hearty hugs & kisses to all of my cos-mates & acquaintances AND Special Mention to Team Mercenaries (namely Dante TheWesker, Ayinn The RE5Chris, Sparda TheChris, Aiko TheAda, Dyrenz TheLeon and Akiko TheJill) for their remarkable never-withering support to me as a cosplayer, and even more so as a real human being. Thank God I have finally found you guys. It's so cool to know that we can work together, pray together, laugh and cry together and definitely been through quite a number of ups and downs during our team-bonding period which I believe won't be ending anytime soon (Well, not in the next 15 years i reckon :D) You wonderful people are my blessings after all these struggles. I can't wait to begin our future projects together! ;D And again, to my beau, Syauqi_TheDante, I can never thank you enough for your endless love, devotion & the ultimate patience of being a backbone to a lowly, imperfect human being such as I am. Thank you for being my home.
With him, Syauqanna sans Syauqi & Anna; has ever since became our duo label :)
